Place your arms around the stone, interlocking your fingers underneath it, and pull the stone into your lap while driving up with your legs.
Once the stone is in your lap, reposition your hands to the top of the stone, keeping your chest pressed against it.
Drive up with your hips and legs while simultaneously pulling the stone up your body, aiming to get it onto your shoulder or over a bar if you're in a competition.
Carefully lower the stone back down to the ground, bending at your knees and hips to maintain proper form and prevent injury.
