Performing the: A Step-by-Step Tutorial StrongMan Atlas Stones

  • Place your arms around the stone, interlocking your fingers underneath it, and pull the stone into your lap while driving up with your legs.
  • Once the stone is in your lap, reposition your hands to the top of the stone, keeping your chest pressed against it.
  • Drive up with your hips and legs while simultaneously pulling the stone up your body, aiming to get it onto your shoulder or over a bar if you're in a competition.
  • Carefully lower the stone back down to the ground, bending at your knees and hips to maintain proper form and prevent injury.
